So today is a very nice warm sunny day in the Willamette Valley and I thought it would be nice to take some garden pictures. I don't remember if
these iris's were here when we bought our house or if someone gave them to me and I planted them. Maybe it's age but mostly I like to believe that my brain is just really full. That's my excuse and I'm stickin' to it. My friend Diane keeps trying to give me more iris's but I flew down to CA the last few times and I don't wanna get into trouble trying to sneak live plants on the plane. Southwest probably wouldn't let me fly with them any more. I have heard of people sneaking illegal animals into the US by hiding them in jackets, hats, etc. Not me, I'm not going to jail for an iris or two. So, I think Diane is going to have to come visit me in her new motor home to bring me plants.
The pansy pot above on our front porch came from Vintage Roost. My friend Debbie Williams has a seasonal gift shop that is the most darling little cottage full of lovely goodies I have ever seen. She and some of her craftier friends open this little cottage a few times throughout the year and bring in furniture, flowers, baked treats, jewelry, hand sewn jackets, purses and aprons. Very, very cute stuff!
So, let me know if you like my blog and just so you know, this blog is the most self-centered thing I can do for myself so whether you like or not, I enjoy blogging and I will keep doing it no matter what. But I really hope you love it.
you are so stinkin' full of yourself!
